the English went home as well, creating havoc with my Final 4 bracket. on penalty kicks to boot. turns out Rooney was red-carded and Pretty Boy Becks went out with an injury. this is also the 2nd time they've lost to Portugal on PKs.

then the French defeat the Boys from Brazil, 0-1, giving me a 1 for 4 prediction rate. geez. but i didn't notice any jubilant celebration when i passed by my neighborhood Boulangerie-Patisserie. should i now even try to predict the World Cup finalists? okay (heaving breaths): France invades Germany, which is kinda weird if this was 1942.

didn't watch the matches, but that might've saved me from drowning myself in a tub of ... Chocolate Devotion at the local Cold Stone Creamery.
