Brownie Points

It’s the two year anniversary for Da Vinci Code, and its still going strong. Tom Hanks as Robert Langdon, anyone?

Speaking of grails and quests, I plan to write a treatise (yuck! feeling!) on Garth Ennis' stunning Preacher. It has sex, violence, religion, comedy, philosophy, voodoo, even France (wait, even Da Vinci Code didn't have the first one - or the sixth). This should be made into a movie. I wonder who optioned the rights. Hmmmm ... maybe if Sin City is a hit ... (i saw the full trailer awhile ago too, even before Star Wars E3: Revenge of the Sith).

Somehow I cant see Tom Hanks as Langdon. Im imagining more of a Russell Crowe type. He did play Professor John Nash for Ron Howard.

Was prolly too drunk to read the script.
