

... almost 30 years later, here i am about to have my first taste of the much-maligned Hostess Twinkies (and with good reason).

so what's the verdict?

eeeeewwwww. that's disgusting. apparently, the fried version seems to be a kind of a cultural hit, despite the Twinkies's unhealthy rep.
well, that's my first and last one. i know we can't totally avoid it, but anything with HFCS - high fructose corn syrup - is bad for you (and the government knows this gleefully).
now hand me that Quaker Chocolate Crunch Rice Cake.
