Jego said...: Their leaders knew the storm was coming. They knew the slopes of Mayon, having just erupted last year, were chock-full of lahar. Yet their leaders did nothing. It's like that mayor dude from New Orleans, whatsisface. He had a report on his desk that says the levees won't survive a storm over category 3, and another report that says a full evacuation of the city would take 72 hours, but did nothing until 24 hours before Katrina hit.
